Description
“This morning I rode my bike to the bridge to see what I could see, and ended up hiking in to the swim hole, where a giant flock of Pigeons was fluttering about on a rock wall. On the way back out, I found my friend, the Sharp-shinned Hawk. This little guy, one of the smallest hawks, is not at all afraid of me, and once again, let me get within 20 feet of the low tree it was in, and then spend about a half hour with it, hoping for a fly off shot, which never came. I’m not sure why, but it kept opening it’s mouth as if to yell but no sound came out….” – Talia Rose, County Line Wild
