“Fresh Otter Pup!
I had the most delightful encounter with a mama and her two pups today! They fished for pike minnow as I slowly moved closer to watch and they were not shy a bit. This Otter pup was a bit smaller than the other and rested on this rock a bit while the other two crunched fish. This family is “first family” – as it was the first one I spotted this summer and the pups are bigger than the other two families. I believe this to be the mom I followed last year with her pups, which may explain why they are not skittish around me.” – Talia Rose, County Line Wild
