“Fawn in the River
I was standing in the river after a morning of searching unsuccessfully for the elusive Green Heron when I heard a splash behind me. I turned to look and found this little Fawn less than 20 ft away, running through the river. It passed me and swam to shore where it could run safely up the hill. I suspect if I had not been standing in the river we may have seen a Coyote come chasing it…..” – Talia Rose, County Line Wild
